He Asked. I Said Yes.

On Monday, September 26th, I came home from work to find Derry wearing a bow tie, and a dozen red roses in the living room. On the table was a letter that led me on a scavenger hunt around the apartment, hidden in objects significant to our relationship, such as the dog plushie Mike gave me for our one-month anniversary, and our travel scrapbook. Each letter contained a part of our two years together, and a hint to locate the next letter.

When I got to the last letter, Mike knelt to one knee and opened a small box that contained a gorgeous princess cut diamond ring. And the rest is history!
