Our Handmade Wedding Invites

I've finished handing out my wedding invites, so I thought I would do a post on what they looked like! A while back, I ordered the above MiniCards from Moo.com with pictures of Mike and me on the front. Everyone received a different photo.

On the back was some wedding information, a link to our wedding website and a little picture of us as "milk and cookies" ...because we go so well together.

I made loose infinity knots in twine, and attached them to little handprinted cards in such a way that guests would be tying the knot as the card is opened for the first time.

I think my friends had as much fun opening the invites as I did making them. One of my friends re-loosened the knot after so she could show her boyfriend when he opened it later.

My advice to anyone making their own wedding invites... start early, and make small batches at a time. Give yourself a few extra to mess up on. The first couple invites takes the longest, but it gets easier. Let it be a fun process!
